Nestled in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, we proudly offer four privately owned, thoughtfully decorated homes with private and shared rooms for you or your loved one. With only six residents per home, we deliver truly individualized care. Additionally, we customize support, activities, and daily routines to meet each resident’s unique needs and preferences — while maintaining a warm, family-like environment.

Also, residents enjoy the freedom of living in their own private or shared room without the worry of chores like cooking, cleaning, or laundry. On top of that, our caring team handles every detail so your loved one can focus on living life with comfort, dignity, and peace of mind.

As a result, families can feel confident knowing their loved ones receive attentive, personalized care 24 hours a day from our dedicated, compassionate staff.

We coordinate directly with physicians, pharmacies, and home health nurses — bringing as many services as possible right into the home so care feels seamless, comfortable, and stress-free.

Founder & Director

Laura started Emerald Isle in 1995.

After 5 years of taking care of her father who resided in a board and care home, she decided she wanted to provide a more home-like experience for others.

Emerald Isle Assisted Living Homes is dedicated in loving memory to my father, George Patrick Bland, who had a love for Ireland and spent his last years in a residential care facility. In his honor, it is my wish to provide the very best of care to all who reside in our homes.

At Emerald Isle Assisted Living Homes, our promise is to create a balance of support and care so our residents feel the freedom to make the same choices that they did at home. We pride ourselves in providing a smaller caregiver to resident ratio compared to many other larger assisted living facilities in the area. We are able to provide 1 caregiver to every 3 residents which enables us to provide them with more personalized attention. Our qualified staff have compassionate hearts and are focused on providing the best life has to offer to our residents.
